How Definition uses AI to do market and problem research fast — with an adversarial verification step so LLM-sourced claims are cited and confidence-rated before they enter a PFD.

The method​

  1. Frame the opportunity — Double Diamond / Opportunity Solution Trees; what problem, for whom, why now.
  2. AI deep-research runs — market scans, competitor posture, regulatory context.
  3. Mine client signals — support tickets, CRM, win/loss (feeds from the signal register).
  4. Adversarially verify — every material LLM-sourced claim is checked against a primary source and confidence-rated. Unverified claims are labelled as such or dropped.

The non-negotiable​

No unverified claim enters a PFD. AI accelerates the gathering; it does not get to assert. A cited, confidence-rated claim is research; an uncited one is a hallucination risk. This discipline is what lets Definition move fast without building on sand.
