Delivery cadence & ceremony kit

Flow-based delivery that replaces sprint scaffolding. When execution is cheap and continuous, sprint ceremony is overhead — this is the lean replacement.

The kit

  • 15-minute daily flow check — blockers and agent-queue health, not a status theatre round.
  • Weekly SME demo/validation — the SME sees and validates real progress.
  • Per-loop retrospective — short, on the work just done.
  • Kanban triage with WIP limits — pull work through; limit work-in-progress so flow beats busyness.

Retired ceremonies (and why)

  • Sprint planning — flow-based, pull-driven work doesn't batch into sprints.
  • Estimation poker — when agents collapse execution cost, story-point estimation measures the wrong thing; prioritise by WSJF, size by risk/direction effort.

Why flow, not sprints

Sprints batch work into fixed windows — useful when execution is slow and you need to commit. RAPID's execution is continuous, so batching adds latency without adding predictability. Kanban with WIP limits matches how the work actually flows.
