Early-adopter / beta programme
How a RAPID product goes from Refinement to a confident general release — with real users, structured feedback, and clear exit criteria. StudyBuddy is the first run; recruitment starts during its Build.
The playbook
- Candidate selection — a few engaged, representative clients; not everyone.
- Beta agreement template — expectations, data handling, feedback obligations.
- Entry/exit criteria — entry: Refinement Exit passed + agreement signed; exit: CSAT/NPS thresholds met, task-completion evidence in, zero open S1/S2.
- Structured feedback instruments — task-based sessions, a CSAT/NPS pulse — flowing into the feedback pipeline.
- Graduation checklist to GA — in the beta agreement; exit criteria met, then through the GTM Readiness gate.
Why structure the beta
An unstructured beta produces anecdotes; a structured one produces evidence. Defined criteria and instruments mean the pilot proves the product is ready (or shows exactly what isn't) — the same rigour RAPID applies to the build, applied to the launch. Complements the GTM-readiness gate.
